Yvonne Mannings

Yvonne Mannings was educated in Newport, Gwent and trained in illustration at the Newport College of Art in Art and Design. She gained a Teaching Diploma at London University Institute of Education. After qualifying and teaching in Essex and Newport, she moved to Pembrokeshire, where she brought up her family and, apart from a few years in Scotland, has lived there ever since.

While her children were small, she studied for and gained an Open University Degree in Arts and Education and subsequently returned to teaching, her past post being at Sir Thomas Picton School in Haverfordwest.

Her work covers a wide range of subject matter from portrait, to still-life and landscape: she has exhibited widely in Pembrokeshire and has had four major exhibitions. Much of her work has been sold and taken abroad as far afield as Canada, America and Australia.
